"To End a Presidency: The Power of Impeachment": A Book Talk with Joshua Matz

UCLA School of Law (Room Number TBD), Los Angeles, CA

Please join us for a discussion of Joshua Matz's most recent book "To End a Presidency: The Power of Impeachment." The book, which Joshua co-authored with Harvard Law Professor Laurence Tribe, addresses one of today's most urgent questions: when and whether to impeach a president. Joshua graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he served as Articles & Book Reviews Chair of the Harvard Law Review and president of the American Constitution Society. Forbes named Joshua to its “30 under 30” Law & Policy List for 2014, and in 2016 named him an “Alumni All-Star” of past Law & Policy honorees. Joshua is also the publisher of Take Care, a blog dedicated to incisive analysis of the legal issues raised by Donald Trump’s presidency. The event will consist of a presentation on the topic of impeachment, followed by a short question and answer period. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP by e-mailing Emmanuel Hurtado (hurtado2020@lawnet.ucla.edu). Lunch will be provided for those who RSVP by Friday, August 31st at 12:00 PM.
