Michigan Ballot Proposals in 2018 - How the Legislature is Thwarting Ballot Iniaitves

This panel will discuss the recent efforts by the Michigan legislature to undermine the One Fair Wage and Paid Sick Leave ballot initiatives. We will also discuss how the recent history of ballot initiative efforts in Michigan, and how we've reached this point. We will be joined by Mark Brewer, one of Michigan Election Law Experts and the lead attorney for several ballot initiatives in 2018, as well as David Woodward and Alicia Farris from EJAM.
