General Meeting and the Most Important Cases Ever w/ Professor Chandler

University of Houston Law Center, Houston, TX

The ACS student chapter at the University of Houston will have it's only general meeting of the semester featuring a short lesson in con law with Professor Seth Chandler. Professor Chandler will discuss his study of the recent release largest set of case data ever put in the public domain (free law.org). It consists of 3 million judicial decisions and 30 million citations between them. It covers federal cases and state cases, going back to the 1920s in most jurisdictions and further back in others. Through his own “network analysis” of these cases, Professor Chandler has discovered which cases are the most important cases ever!
