Fellowships Talk with ACS 3Ls

Please join the Yale Law ACS Student Chapter on Friday, February 19 from 12:10 – 1:15 pm for a conversation on post-graduation fellowships. For 2Ls (or anyone!) considering public interest fellowships, this is an opportunity to hear from 3Ls about the process of deciding to do a fellowship, identifying a host organization and project, and applying. Our panelists are also offering coffee chat signups before and after the panel. To sign up for lunch or a coffee chat, please register for this event by Wednesday at 5pm. We will be distributing vouchers by lottery if demand exceeds our supply.

Jenny Choi will be working at a Member of Congress’s personal office in NYC as a Justice Catalyst fellow. Jenny is happy to discuss non-traditional and/or non-law job and opportunities in areas of little past exposure.

Dan Stein will be doing an EJW Fellowship at the Awood Center, a worker center in Minneapolis that was the first known group in the United States to get Amazon management to negotiate with employees. Dan can speak to the process of developing a fellowship with a host organization that has not had a fellow before and about identifying workers’ rights fellowship opportunities.

Ramis Wadood will be serving as a Skadden Fellow at the ACLU of Michigan, in Detroit MI.
