DU Civil Summit: We Shall Overcome

Join attorneys, local leaders, organizers, community members, and students from the University of Denver’s 3rd Annual Civil Rights Summit: We Shall Overcome, presented by Rathod Mohamedbhai LLC, on March 5th and 6th, 2021. This event — organized entirely by law students — aims to connect and inspire Colorado’s civil rights community.

Friday will kick-off with an opening keynote address by Justice Monica M. Márquez and will conclude with remarks by Dean Alexi Freeman. Saturday will begin with opening remarks by Professor Alan Chen and conclude with our Keynote Speaker and Director Tay Anderson.  

Interwoven through both days will be a number of panels and workshops focused on Access to Basic Human Rights, Intersectionality, Criminal Justice, and Justice Registration is for the whole event. Friday's program will begin at 1:00PM and end at 5:30PM, and Saturday's program will begin at 10:30AM and end at 3:30PM. A detailed schedule will be distributed to registrants in February.
