Kwame was a victim of a wrongful conviction based upon false eyewitness testimony and police misconduct, resulting in him spending 28 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. Thanks to attorneys from the Ohio Innocence Project, Kwame was granted a new trial and ultimately exonerated.
