ACS often connects interested journalists with legal and policy experts prepared to provide analysis and commentary on a variety of issues, including executive power, pending Supreme Court and other appellate cases, judicial nominations, voting rights, criminal justice issues, civil liberties and religion. These experts include former state and federal government officials, leading academics, public interest legal practitioners and former judges.

If you are a member of the press seeking a comment from a legal or policy expert, please contact the ACS Communications Department at (202) 393-6181 and ask to speak with:

The American Constitution Society places high priority on making scholarly output accessible to a wide audience. To transmit these ideas as broadly as possible, ACS publishes a number of journals and papers. These include: the Harvard Law & Policy Review, the official journal of the American Constitution Society, and Advance, the journal of the ACS Issue Groups, to Issue Briefs, event transcripts and blogs.

Harvard Law and Policy Review. A semi-annual journal founded and edited by students at Harvard Law School, it serves as the official journal of ACS. Authors of articles in HLPR have included distinguished policymakers, judges, scholars and others.

ACS Issue Briefs. ACS Issue Briefs are accessible white papers that offer insights and proposals on legal and policy topics within the scope of the ACS Issue and Working Groups. They are distributed widely to ACS members, the progressive legal community, the media and policymakers. ACS Issue Briefs are authored by scholars, practitioners, policymakers and others in the ACS community with valuable ideas to share.

Advance: The Journal of the ACS Issue Groups. Advance features a selection of Issue Briefs released in the preceding months or a series of papers on a particular subject emanating from an ACS conference or symposium.

ACSBlog: The Blog of the American Constitution Society. ACSBlog is a source for news, analysis and opinion on today's important legal and policy issues. From previews of the week's congressional activities to analysis of important Supreme Court decisions, and with links to new legal resources and news and informed opinion on critical legal and policy issues, ACSBlog features articles by practitioners, scholars and policymakers. ACSBlog also provides special series, such as blog posts from Guantanamo Bay, debates on current controversies, exploration of big-picture legal issues, coverage of major legal and policy news and reports from ACS events.

ACS Multimedia Library. In an effort to share the benefits of ACS events more widely, the ACS Multimedia Library contains videos, transcripts and podcasts from an array of ACS events that take place in Washington and across the nation. Events include conferences and symposia, ACS's National Convention, Supreme Court Previews and Reviews and chapter programming.

ACS Annual Report. In a remarkably short time, ACS has grown from a small student club at a single law school into the nation's fastest-growing organization of progressive lawyers, academics, judges, policymakers and law students, with a strong presence in the nation's law schools and major legal markets.
