ACS to Host Press Briefing on Final Supreme Court Opinions
Harris v. Quinn, Sebelius v. Hobby Lobby
Jeremy Leaming, email@example.com
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Only two cases remain to be decided by the Supreme Court this term and they have the potential to be among the most significant of its term. The American Constitution Society for Law and Policy (ACS) will host a press conference call on June 30 featuring constitutional law scholars and a former U.S. Solicitor General to examine the final opinions. Unless the high court adds another day to its term, we are expecting opinions in Burwell v. Hobby Lobby, regarding for-profit companies’ challenge to the Affordable Care Act’s policy on contraception coverage, and Harris v. Quinn, involving a First Amendment challenge to union representation of state home care workers.
