Jampa Lhasawa

Jampa Lhasawa (he/him) joined ACS in September 2021 and served as the Chapters Associate. In this capacity, he worked with the Chapters team to support the work of our ACS Chapters, including assisting with programming, network building, and annual events.

Prior to joining ACS, Lhasawa served as the Outreach Coordinator for Lines for Life, a 24-hour crisis intervention and prevention service in Portland, Oregon. In this position, Lhasawa organized all classroom education, conferences, panels, and tabling events, and created the program’s DEI mission statement, action plan, and three-year strategy.

Lhasawa earned his B.A. in Biology from Oberlin College. He currently lives in Washington, D.C., where he enjoys backpacking, playing chess, and spending time with his dog, Pema.
