Vice President of Strategic Engagement
Jill Dash joined ACS in 2008 and currently serves as the Vice President of Strategic Engagement. She oversees ACS’s work on several special projects, including judicial nominations and interactions with the judiciary; state courts, money and politics; the Voting Rights Institute and other network engagement on voting; and development of the ACS professional pipeline.
Before joining ACS, Dash was a litigator at Zuckerman Spaeder, LLP in various areas including securities, tort litigation, and civil rights. Previously, she practiced at the Federal Trade Commission Division of Advertising Practices and at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld. She currently serves on the board of the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia.
Dash received her J.D. from Duke University School of Law and her B.A. in American Studies magna cum laude with distinction from Cornell University. She clerked for the Hon. Laura Taylor Swain in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Dash lives in Maryland with her husband and two girls.
