Fellow for DNA and the Department of Policy and Program
Ileana Thompson joined ACS in June 2020 and currently serves as the Fellow for the Department of Network Advancement and the Department of Policy and Program.
Prior to joining ACS, Thompson was a Student Defender within the Student Legal Aid Office at the University of Maryland; and a Research Assistant at The Learning to Talk Lab.
Thompson received her B.A. in Hearing and Speech Sciences with an Honors Citation, along with two Minors in Spanish Literature Linguistics & Culture, and Law and Society from the University of Maryland, College Park. At the University of Maryland, she was named a Joel and Kim Feller MLAW Endowed Scholar, and served as a Section Leader within the Honors College, and a peer advisor within the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences. For leisure, Thompson enjoys playing soccer, dancing, and traveling to new places.
