Bridget Lawson

Assistant Director of Chapters

Bridget Lawson joined ACS in July 2020 as the Law Fellow with the Policy & Programs team and started as Assistant Director of Chapters for the West Coast region in 2021. In this role, they work to advance the next generation of progressive leaders by guiding existing ACS chapters, fostering opportunities to expand the ACS network, and promoting diversity and equity in the legal community. As the Law Fellow they work directly with scholars and experts to develop issue briefs, review journals and blog posts and assist the Programs directors in crafting and publishing resource guides and national events.

Lawson is a 2020 graduate of the Willamette University College of Law with a focus on criminal justice, civil rights, and LGBTQ+ rights advocacy. They are an ACS Next Generation Leader and served as President of the Willamette student chapter of ACS in 2019-2020.

Lawson received their B.S. in Political Science and Economics from the University of Oregon in 2016.
