Student Chapters Fellow

Antoinette “Toni” Stone joined ACS in August 2019 and currently serves as the Student Chapters Fellow.

Prior to joining the ACS team, Stone graduated from Hampshire College, ’17 with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts. While at Hampshire, she studied the connections between slave narratives and prison writings, tracing the legal precedent of how the abolishment of slavery led to the Prison Industrial Complex. Stone was the president of UMOJA: Black Student Organization, Fundcom (Hampshire funding student body), and multiple other student groups.

After graduating from Hampshire, she worked with Inwood House’s P.R.I.M.E. Leaders (Productive, Resourceful, Innovative, Motivated & Empowering) afterschool program. She worked with grades K-8 in the South Bronx teaching children key skills through the arts.

In her free time, she likes to read, watch movies, and write short stories.
