Andrew DeVore

Andrew DeVore is Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Amazon.com, Inc., where he manages Amazon's litigation, regulatory enforcement, labor and employment, privacy and data protection, security, compliance, and law enforcement matters. In 2017, DeVore was appointed to the ACS board of directors.

DeVore was previously a partner and founder at DeVore & DeMarco, where he managed the risks associated with e-commerce in private practice and helped clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to startups at the intersection of the law and new technology. He was previously a partner at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips; counsel at Parcher, Hayes & Snyder; and an associate at Debevoise & Plimpton.

DeVore also previously worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, where he co-founded the Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property (CHIP) Unit. He has also worked as an adjunct professor at Columbia Law School, teaching seminars on Internet and computer crimes.

DeVore received his J.D. from New York University School of Law and his B.A. in political science and English at Middlebury College.
