ACS Georgia: 2021 Georgia Legislative Session Wrap-Up


Join the ACS Georgia Lawyer Chapter as we present a Legislative Wrap-Up discussion on the 2021 Georgia Legislative Session.

In 2021, the General Assembly passed a large variety of laws: from a controversial overhaul of state election laws and a revamp of the state "citizen arrest" laws to a modest tax cut and new laws on hazing, porch piracy and human trafficking. Some have already been signed into law by Governor Kemp.

The American Constitution Society believes that law should be a force to improve the lives of all people. Please join us for a lively discussion on which bills became law and which did not, and on how the lives of Georgians will be impacted.
