Giselle Tervalon joined ACS in July 2017 and currently serves as the communications fellow. As the fellow, Giselle assists the communication department in social media implementation and strategy, edits the ACSblog and helps to facilitate webinars and in-person panel discussions.
Giselle graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies. She focused her study on East Asia and Haiti. She participated in the University of California’s DC program where she interned for Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif). She later worked as a press fellow for Rep. Judy Chu (D-Calif.) and as a Canvass Director at WETA. Her academic interests include criminal justice reform, affordable housing and immigration.
In her free time Giselle enjoys cooking, hiking and listening to podcasts.
