Winners of the 2008 Richard D. Cudahy Competition on Regulatory and Administrative Law
The American Constitution Society for Law & Policy and Judge Cudahy’s clerks and staff are pleased to announce the winners of the 2008 Richard D. Cudahy Competition on Regulatory and Administrative Law. In the competition’s inaugural year, we received over 50 pieces, which consistently exceeded our expectations in quality and originality, and successfully reflected Judge Cudahy’s ongoing legacy of substantive and insightful scholarship on regulatory and administrative law.
The winners were announced at the ACS National Convention on June 13th and 14th. These winners are:
- 1st Place -- "Overseer, or 'The Decider'? The President in Administrative Law" by Peter Strauss
- 2nd Place -- "Procedures as Politics in Administrative Law" by Lisa Bressman
- 3rd Place -- "International Delegations and Administrative Law" by Kristina Daugirdas
Admissions for the 2009 competition will be accepted starting in the fall (announcement to come), and we encourage you to participate. Please see http://www.acslaw.org/cudahycompetition for rules and information.
