Boston Lawyer Chapter hosts Jims Risen
The ACS Boston Lawyer Chapter and The New England School of Law Student Chapter hosted Jim Risen, the Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter for The New York Times and author of the 2006 book State of War: The Secret History of the CIA and the Bush Administration. Risen discussed the secret history of the CIA under the presidency of George W. Bush, the origins and scope of the Bush Administration’s wiretap program, and the extent to which the war on terrorism has spurred the intelligence community to flout legal conventions at home and abroad.
