Colorado Lawyer Chapter Holds Panel on the Meaning of Citizenship 150 Years After the Dred Scott Decision

The Colorado Lawyer Chapter, in partnership with the Bill of Rights Committee of the Colorado Bar Association, the American Civil Liberties Union of Colorado, the Sam Cary Bar Association and the Asian American Pacific Bar Association of Colorado, sponsored a panel discussion entitled “The Meaning of Citizenship 150 Years After the Dred Scott Decision.” The event featured The Honorable Terrance Carroll of the Colorado House of Representatives; Cynthia Coffman, Chief Deputy Attorney General of the State of Colorado; and Professor Clare Huntington of the University of Colorado Law School. The panel was moderated by Judge Timothy M. Tymkovich, Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. The event took place at St. Cajetan's Center, 1190 9th St. Denver, Colorado at 6:30pm.
