ACS and FMC present Music and Intellectual Property Policy Day: The Net Effect

On May 2, 2007, ACS and the Future of Music Coalition co-sponsored a "Music and Intellectual Property Policy Day" featuring a panel exploring net neutrality, which is currently the subject of heated debate. Is this a solution in search of a problem, or should the government and FCC enforce rules that would preserve the open nature of the internet? Advocates for both positions discussed the real world impact of net neutrality on musicians, labels and the public at large. Please click here for a list of all panelists.
