On October 5th, The ACS Seattle University School of Law Student Chapter hosted a discussion on the Hamdan decision and constitutional questions concerning the rights of detainees held at Guantanamo Bay. The panel featured local Counsel for Salim Hamdan: David East, McNaul Ebel Nawrot & Helgren; Joseph MacMillan, Perkins Coie; Harry Schneider, Perkins Coie; Charles Sipos, Perkins Coie. The Honorable John Coughenor, United States District Judge, Western District of Washington served as moderator of this discussion that was an over-the-top success. This event was also sponsored by the Puget Sound Lawyer Chapter.
