Constitution Day 2006

September 17th, 2006 was Constitution Day, a federally recognized day celebrating the United States Constitution. Under Constitution Day's authorizing statute, schools receiving federal funds are required to hold a program educating their students about the Constitution.

Several schools met this mandate by inviting ACS members to teach a lesson on Constitutional Law as part of ACS' Constitution in the Classroom Project. This ongoing project provides lawyers and law students with resources to plan lessons which they can teach in middle school, high school and undergraduate classrooms.
