On Wednesday, March 29 the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy and the Virginia Law Review co-hosted a small group discussion with Yale Law School Professor Akhil Amar. Professor Amar was at the University of Virginia to participate in a panel discussion on his book "America's Constitution: A Biography." Professor Amar discussed liberalism and originalism and encouraged progressives to reclaim the Constitution as a progressive document that it is.
