Robert Rubin, a civil rights attorney for the past 28 years, is the Legal Director for the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area. He specializes in the areas of immigration and voting rights. Prior to coming to the Lawyers' Committee, he was the ACLU staff counsel in Jackson, Mississippi. He will discuss pursuing a career in litigating civil liberties.
