Election Law and Military Voting Issues

On Tuesday, February 1st, the Military Law & Policy Institute at Chapman University School of Law, the American Constitution Society Chapman Student Chapter, and the Federalist Society Chapman Student Chapter will co-host a luncheon featuring guest speaker Eric Eversole, Executive Director of the Military Voter Protection Project in Washington, D.C. The program will be centered on election law and military related voting issues and lunch will be provided.

Mr. Eversole is a U.S. Navy JAG officer and expert on military voting issues. As a civilian attorney, Eric worked at the Voting Section of the United States Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division. Among other things, Mr. Eversole has testified before the House Committee on Administration, Subcommittee on Elections and the Senate Committee on Rules and Administration. He also has published articles on military voting issues for the Heritage Foundation, the Weekly Standard, and other media outlets.
