Have you been wondering what a Supreme Court oral argument is like? If so, then you'll have a great time this Monday when ACS is proud to co-sponsor the first in the school's annual series of Supreme Court moot courts. Beginning at 2 pm, Christopher Landau of Kirkland & Ellis in Washington, DC will be mooting his argument for the respondent in Shady Grove Orthopedic Assoc. v. Allstate Ins. Co., which presents the question whether a state legislature may properly prohibit the federal courts from using the class action device for state law claims. The distinguished panel of judges will consist of Professors Goldberg, Rubenstein, Shapiro, and Wolff.
