ACS is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2010 ACS National Convention, which will take place in Washington, D.C. at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel on June 17-19. The Eighth Annual Convention will feature an exciting lineup that includes featured speakers Senator Al Franken, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, Representative Linda Sánchez, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, and Newark Mayor Cory Booker. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with hundreds of exciting speakers, participate in discussions and debates on key legal and public policy issues, and contribute to the development of a progressive vision of the Constitution, the law, and public policy.
In addition to Senator Franken, Secretary Napolitano, Rep. Sanchez, and Mayor Booker, the Convention will include many additional speakers and engaging panel discussions all day Friday, June 18, and Saturday morning, June 19. The Convention will again this year have additional time built into the schedule for mentoring and networking with speakers and panelists. The ACS Student Chapter Retreat will follow the Saturday luncheon with Mayor Booker.
