Next Tuesday, June 7th, 2005, The American Constitution Society will host an evening panel discussion in Washington on "Counting to Five: Arguing the Close Case in the U.S. Supreme Court." Among the participants will be former U.S. Solicitor General Walter Dellinger, a member of ACS's Board of Advisors and a partner at O'Melveny & Myers; Tom Goldstein, one of the founders of Goldstein & Howe and the proprietor of SCOTUSBlog; and Pamela Harris, a member of the ACS Board of Directors and a partner at O'Melveny & Myers. A reception will follow the program.
The program will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the offices of O'Melveny & Myers, 1625 Eye Street, N.W. There is no charge to attend this event. ACS wishes to thank O'Melveny & Myers for generously sponsoring the reception. ACS encourages lawyers and law students, including those who are not yet ACS members, to attend.
