Samantha Batel joined ACS in August 2013 and currently serves as the Student Chapters Fellow. She acts as a liaison between ACS and its law school chapters, provides administrative support for the Student Chapters department, and maintains the Student Chapters website and other Student Chapters social media outlets.
Before joining ACS, Samantha served as the summer tour manager for Princeton University, coordinating and leading daily campus tours for up to four hundred visitors. She also interned for a boutique law firm in New York City and was a reporter for the Long Island Press.
Samantha graduated from Princeton University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs and a certificate in the Program in Values and Public Life. Her senior thesis analyzed Fisher v. University of Texas and explored students’ perceptions of race in the higher education admission process. Originally from Long Island, New York, Samantha’s interests include education policy, running, and ultimate frisbee.
