Katherine O'Leary, Lawyer Chapters Fellow

Katherine O’Leary joined ACS in August 2011 and currently serves as the Lawyer Chapters Fellow. In this capacity, she assists with the programming logistics for ACS’s nationwide network of lawyer chapters and helps to conduct outreach to individual members to strengthen their role in the ACS network. 

Before joining ACS, Katherine worked with the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia through the Arthur Liman Public Interest Law Fellowship. During her junior year of college, she worked as a Junior Research Partner on issues concerning youth in Indonesia. Additionally, she has interned for the Friends of Justice, and the American Friends Service Committee. 

Katherine graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Science in 2011.  As a student, she was an active member of the pre-public interest law organization, the Harvard Undergraduate Legal Committee.

Katherine enjoys exploring the monuments and museums of D.C., running, and reading about history. She lives in Washington, D.C.
