Jane Wang Williams joined ACS in August 2013 and currently serves as the Programs Fellow. Jane organizes national programming logistics, edits national ACS publications, and provides administrative support for the Department of Policy Development and Programs.
Before joining ACS, Jane co-directed the Mission Hill Summer Program 2012, an educational summer camp aimed at curbing summer learning loss for 70 at-risk children in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston. Jane has also worked as an assistant to the Chair of the Legal Redress Committee of the North Carolina State Conference of the NAACP where she researched the achievement gap and the re-segregation of public schools in North Carolina.
Jane graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College, concentrating in Philosophy with a secondary in African-American Studies. Her academic interests include race, justice, and, in particular, individual duties to racial justice in the contemporary United States. Jane is a proud native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and in addition to North Carolina politics, she enjoys running, cooking, farming, and dancing.
