Jill Dash joined ACS in July 2008 and currently serves as the Director of Lawyer Chapters. In this capacity, she manages the programming and growth of ACS’s nationwide network of lawyers, including building new lawyer chapters across the country, advancing ACS’s substantive initiatives, facilitating the transition of student members to lawyer members, and strengthening the role of lawyer members in the ACS network.
Before joining ACS, Jill practiced law at Zuckerman Spaeder, LLP as a litigator in various areas including securities, tort litigation, employment discrimination and child custody. In addition, Jill was a law clerk to the Honorable Laura Taylor Swain at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Previously, she practiced at the Federal Trade Commission Division of Advertising Practices and at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld.
Jill graduated magna cum laude with distinction from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies in 1997 and from Duke University School of Law with a J.D. in 2000. She currently serves on the board of the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia.
She lives in Maryland with her husband and daughter.
