David Lyle

David Lyle joined the American Constitution Society as Senior Counsel for Network Advancement in 2013, having served as the organization’s deputy director from 2002-2011. In 2012 he founded the Courts Matter project at Media Matters for America. Prior to joining ACS, David worked as a principal in a political consulting firm, at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, as Counsel to Representative Don Johnson (D-GA), an associate at Arnold & Porter and as law clerk to Judge John C. Godbold of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. He graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Law School and magna cum laude from the University of Georgia.
