The American Constitution Society for Law & Policy and Judge Cudahy’s clerks and staff are pleased to announce the winners of the 2012 Richard D. Cudahy Competition on Regulatory and Administrative Law. In the competition’s fifth year, we received numerous pieces from both students and lawyers, which consistently exceeded our expectations in quality and originality, and successfully reflected Judge Cudahy’s ongoing legacy of substantive and insightful scholarship on regulatory and administrative law. The winners were announced at the ACS National Convention on June 16th. These winners are:
- Student Category -- "Administrative Oversight of State Medicaid Payment Policies: Giving Teeth to the Equal Access Provision" by Julia Bienstock (final version, edited for publication in the Fordham Urban Law Journal)
- Lawyer Category -- "Adaptable Due Process," by Jason Parkin (final version, edited for publication in the University of Pennsylvania Law Review)
ACS is now accepting submissions for the 2014 competition, and we encourage you to participate.
The deadline for submissions is February 7, 2014.
